President Bola Tinubu has reassured Nigerians that the economy is undergoing the necessary reforms and retooling to serve its citizens better.
He stated this in his National Broadcast to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary.
According to him, the necessary reforms embarked by his administration has attracted foreign direct investments worth more than $30B in the last one year.
He reiterated the commitment of his administration to free enterprise, free entry and free exit in investments while maintaining the sanctity and efficacy of regulatory processes.
He reassured Nigerians that his administration is implementing many measures to reduce the cost of living while commending some State Governor’s for embracing federal government’s agricultural production programme.
Tinubu went further to call on Nigerians to foster national unity and build social harmony and cohesion saying that the economy can only thrive when there is peace.
