Reactions have trailed the just completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme by a popular presenter, Kenny Ogungbe at the age of 53 .
Ogungbe’s photo went viral as he completed the NYSC.
He was well-known for helping to shape the Nigerian music scene in his early 20s with his Kennis Music label, shared photos of his Passing Out Parade on Instagram with the caption, “NYSC graduation/POP today.” Graduation day in Lagos/12C “All glory to God.”
The photos sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some claiming that Ogungbe could go into politics and raising questions if the 30-year age limit for the programme is no longer in place.
