The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has congratulated the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji and the All Progressives Congress family for the victory at the supreme Court.
The union in a statement by its secretary, Kayode Babatuyi describes the victory as divine adding that the Governor can now concentrate fully on the task of building Ekiti for better.
The statement salutes the courage displayed by Governor Oyebanji through out the travail saying the Governor did not at any time lose focus.
It appeals to the Social Democratic Party, SDPabd it’s candidate, Chief Segun Oni to be gallant in defeat and join hands with Governor Oyebanji to make Ekiti a pride of place.
The statement adds that Ekiti Journalists are ready to cooperate with the Governor towards achieving his dreams for the state.
