Another Crisis might have emerged within the ruling All progressives Congress APC as President Muhammadu Bubari has reportedly sacked the CECPC under the leadership of Gov. Mai Mala Buni with immediate effect.

Buhari who left the country for United Kingdom for medical checkup on Sunday reportedly gave the directive before his departure to the UK.

The President , it was gathered also directed that Governor of Niger state, Abubakar Bello takes over as Sole Administrator of the party with capacity to convene the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting with immediate effect within seven days .

But some party leaders who did not find the President’s decision suitable were said to be up and down to reverse the situation.

Buni was also said to be outside the Country for a medical checkup and didn’t witness the scenario.

However President Buhari had signalled that the March 26, 2022 date for the national convention stands.

It was gathered that Governor Bello has now taken over the ruling All Progressives Congress as ‘sole administrator’ following the sack of Mai Mala Buni as chairman of the caretaker committee.

The presidency and the APC governors were said to be disturbed at Buni’s conduct and collusion with a few colleagues to undermine the interest of the ruling party.
