On behalf of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard, BATS-V ,i first of all give glory to God Almighty on the Journey so far. A sincere appreciation to all the stakeholders on their germane efforts in ensuring that Nigeria attains another impactful Political dispensation fruitfully and successfully.
I welcome everyone present on this important event geared towards the interest of our Nation.
I want to congratulate the national officers, national Directors and State Chairmen that are being sworn in and also charge them that the development is a call on them to diligent service and patriotism.
I appreciate the BOT members,Diaspora group and all our teeming members across the globe.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATS-V) is a socio political organization that identifies the values, ideal, ideas and ideology of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, thereby showing Solidarity with him by creating a Vanguard across the thirty states of the federation and FCT, Abuja and even across the Globe, in any Country you can find a Nigerian living, mobilizing funds, human resources to encourage and persuade him, Asiwaju to come out and use his naturally endowed talent that made Lagos state the fourth Economy in the whole of Afican for Nigeria ; so that a template can finally be set for our country Nigeria so that we can overtake America and the emerging technological hub, China.
BATS-V believes what Bola Ahmed Tinubu can do differently as a President is evidently clear as to what he did differently in Lagos that remained unsurpassed which has kept Lagos going till date. There are lots of hidden talents both young ,middle age and old waiting to be tapped and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a talent hunter. He would mine these talents, furnish them and make them available for Nigeria and the world would see those hidden talents that are left untapped in Nigeria.
For BATSV,Asiwaju is not only a financial expert but an economy guru who knows how to midwife this country to a super Economy if given the chance. This he had done before as a Governor, he would do it again as a president. The country will experience a commendable turn around under the Tinubu Presidency because cerebrally , he has what it takes to restructure the Nigerian political and economic landscape and that is why we at BATS- Vanguard and all people of good conscience in Nigeria should root for his presidency.
For example, looking at the security architecture of Lagos State , it was not like Lagos of the 70s, 80s and 90s where you cannot sleep with your eyes closed. The governnment of Bola Ahmed Tinubu way back in Lagos reached out to stakeholders and established structures that corrected the security anomaly in Lagos.
The group has an assemblage of former Governors, Deputy Governors, Senators,Ministers House of Reps members, Cooperate world Business Executive, Commissioners,Legislators , Religion leaders,Traditional leaders , Political leaders,Opinion leaders and Academics , Market women, students’ organisation and artisans.

The National Secretary, Hon Maigairi is a former Federal Minister of External affairs from Yobe state; our DG in Nigeria Prof David Pam Yakubu is a Don at Research Dept of Uni Jos.
The Deputy Director of Administration was a former Military Administrator in Yobe and also former Minister of Youth &Sports from Gombe,Col Mohammed Musa rtd,from Gombe state.
Most of the state chairmen and woman leaders are former Senators, House of Reps members or Speakers House of Assembly, former Chief of Staff or former State Chairmen of Ruling political parties.
BATS-V is on ground everywhere in Nigeria and in the Diaspora with one unifying goal, the success of Candidate Bola Tinubub as the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, by God’s grace, in 2023
I want to applaud the focus of our pioneer members that saw the vision and kick start it ,almost immediately when the second term of President Mohammadu Buhari started.
I bring greetings from our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the flag bearer of our great party, the All Progressive Congress [APC] and by the grace of God the next President of Nigeria, come May 2023.
Based on his believe that only progressive good governance can deliver the much-desired dividends of democracy, for which APC stands, and on the basis of which the great party was founded, he has asked me to harp on and reiterate his message of renewed hope to you and to all Nigerians.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has laudable plans and programmes for every segment, gender, and age cohort of this society – youth, adults, women, men, and the elderly. His power generation and supply, economic transformation, transportation, entrepreneurship and digital economy programmes are designed to benefit the youth, women, men, and even the elderly in business.
Artisans and traders, alike, will be supported with affordable and accessible loans. Farmers will benefit from improved seeds and seedlings, affordable farm credits, extension services and will be given access to guaranteed markets. The industry and commerce business environment will be made friendly to encourage existing businesses to expand and also facilitate new ones, thereby, increasing income, creating more wealth and employment, and reducing poverty.
Education will be very well funded, qualitative and functional to produce entrepreneurs and employers of labour, and create jobs instead of creating unending pool of job seekers. The various tiers of healthcare (primary, secondary and tertiary) will be well funded to deliver affordable healthcare to all segments and strata of the society through a reformed and modernized process.
The oil and gas industry will be reformed to create more opportunities for local participation, increase local refining capacity, and make petroleum products available at affordable prices. More funding will be provided for transport infrastructure of rails, roads, and ports – sea and air. The objective will be to generally ease transportation costs and logistics across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
Asiwaju’s government will promote the development of Sports, Entertainment and Culture. Special attention will be given to the youth, and women who are the frequently neglected members of the society. The challenged and the vulnerable members of the society (the elderly and the disabled) will be taken care of through a very robust social protection and safety net programme. The general focus of the socio-economic programmes will be to increase income, create wealth and employment, thereby reducing the current prevailing pervasive poverty.
Drawing from and improving on his time-tested experience in Lagos State, our principal has designed a comprehensive programme to ensure adequate revenue generation, fiscal stability and sustainability. Furthermore, his government intends to review the revenue allocation formula in favour of subnational governments to drive the proposed devolution of functions and power to achieve the much needed fiscal federalism.
The Judicial system will be well funded and reformed further to ensure autonomy, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of justice.
Aiwaju’s government will implement and ensure true federalism and decentralization of political power by devolving more powers and functions to the local governments, states and regions.
Ladies and gentlemen, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu believes all of the above – economic prosperity and welfare – can only be achieved in an environment of peace. Consequently, he has put in place an excellent plan to solve the current security problems in Nigeria.
Climate change has come with human and environmental management challenges. The Sustainable Development Goals programme of the United Nations has prescribed generic best practices that ensure a sustainable management of the environment and the fall-out of human activities in his environment. The incoming government of Asiwaju will strengthen the various departments and agencies responsible for the implementation of these programmes across the length and breadth of Nigeria, with a view to ensuring ecosystem / environmental harmony, human welfare and the protection of lives and properties. In particular, the menace of desertification and flooding will be curbed with the implementation of problem-specific solutions acceptable to the people.
I will conclude by summarizing the very laudable programmes of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu under the following heads:
National security, Economy, Agriculture, Power, Oil and Gas, Transportation, Education, Healthcare
Digital Economy, Sports, Entertainment and Culture, Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Women Empowerment, Environmental Sustainability, Social Programmes, Judicial Reforms, Federalism and Decentralization of Power, and Robust Foreign Policy.
In as much as these programmes are desirable, we need to work hard, first, to install the harbinger of the RENEWED HOPE (Asiwaju Bola Tinubu) as the next President of Nigeria. It is a task that must be done!
It is the task before us!
