The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area Hon Damilare Ajayi has joined well meaning well wishers to congratulate the Governor-Elect Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and the Deputy Governor-Elect Mrs Monisade Afuye in Ekiti State for their resounding victory in the just concluded Governorship election.

The Council boss who could not hide his joy on the outcome of the election noted that this is the first time in the history of Ekiti State that a governor will be handing over to his successor from the same political party .
He called on the governor elect to do everything possible to implement his manifestos to Ekiti people, thereby consolidating on the present achievements of Dr John kayode Fayemi.
Hon Ajayi while assuring the Governor -Elect the needed support from the good people of Gbonyin LCDA.
He appealed to him to make challenges facing the people of the communities in the LCDA a priority, in a bid to boost social economic activities in the areas.
Hon Ajayi while thanking the people in the Council area for coming out enmasse and for peaceful comportment during the election enjoined them to support the incoming administration and they should always pray for divine wisdom for the Governor-Elect.
He prayed that Mr Biodun Oyebanji’s tenure will be known for positive turn around of things in Ekiti State.
