….Unveils 7 Point Agenda
Ex-footballer turned Sport Administrator; David Doherty has declared his intention to run for the President of the Nigeria Football Federation in a media parley in Lagos, Nigeria.

Driven by his passion and love for the game, he has thus unveiled a 7 point agenda that will guarantee the return of the glory days of indigenous football in the country.
Doherty in a press release on Wednesday signed by his media officer Olamilekan Lawal stated that his administration if elected will focus on the following specifically: “grassroots/youth development, the Women’s game reform, investing in the domestic league, measurable, practical roadmap for football development, infrastructural development/Capacity building, inclusion/Stakeholders engagement and maximizing the Super Eagles brand.”
The statement added that” David Doherty has purchased the form for the presidential election of the apex football body and also secured the mandatory endorsements from the regional Football Association(s) – that includes endorsement from the Lagos Football Association, Edo Football Association, Plateau Football Association and Anambra Football Association.”
Mr. Doherty in his speech emphasized that; “we must move forward in every area, modernize our organization to serve the interests of all. We have a great platform to build on which is our population and our love of the game. Using our people and culture as the catalyst, we will achieve amazing outcomes from our mission to rebuild the NFF as a world class organization.”
