Oluyemi is a thoroughbred multidisciplinary professional with various backgrounds in education, trainings, insightfulness, and resourceful experience which were gained from both the private and public sectors – financial institutions, academic, extra-ministerial office and trade services.
He was admirably educated earning the following qualifications: Bachelor Honours Degree (B.Sc) in Economics, Master of Business Administration (MBA – General Management), and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
His quest for applied skills in the real-world of business environment and market spurred him to earn Postgraduate Diplomas in Commercial Administration; and Purchasing & Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management of Nigeria respectively.
The zeal of this newly appointed SLA to broaden his horizon in communication development skills took him to the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, where he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism.
His wide and extensive knowledge propelled him to acquire other academic qualifications and professional affiliations including Certified Registered Professional by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Member of the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria, Associate Member at the Nigerian Economic Society, and Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Chain Management of Nigeria.
All these, no doubt, have increased his competence and expertise in all assignments with which he has been saddled.
Oluyemi is a seasoned business and financial expert, procurement consultant, strategic and development studies specialist, peace scholar, and Journalist.
Mr Ojo once had a stint as an administrative officer in the Federal Civil Service of Nigeria. He was at various times Head of Procurement and Supply Chain at Petoa Educational Publishers Limited; Business Development Manager, Oregon Loans and Savings; and Non-Executive Director at Global Peace & Development Consult.
He recently joined the Service of Ekiti State Polytechnic, where he works until his new engagement.
As part of his dermination to reach the top honourably, the newly appointed SLA is presently a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) Research Scholar in Peace and Development Studies, with specialty in Governance and Peace Policy in one of the leading universities in Nigeria undergoing manpower training in the field of peace, conflict, security, and development studies with theoretical and practical skills in all sphere of peace processes, conflict management, security economy, strategic studies, preventive diplomacy, policy and development.
He is happily married and blessed with God-fearing children.
