The police in Kebbi State yesterday prevented journalists from covering the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship primary results declaration in the state.
Journalists who arrived the event center at Gwandanguwaji around 8pm after the delegates have voted and the committee were about to declare the results were not allowed access to the venue.
A Senior police officer prevented the journalists from entering for coverage despite the intervention of official of the State Security service SSS.
It was gathered that manipulation is at stake at the election adjudged as free and fair.
Efforts to reach the party Leadership proved abortive.
