A business man Alhaji Abdullahi Shuaib Yaman has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Flagbearer for next governorship election coming up in Kwara State.
Yaman in the primary election conducted yesterday in Ilorin with presence of security agents and officials of the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), polled 518 votes to beat Hon. Ahman Patigi and Prof. Yisa Gana who scored 31 and 14 votes respectively.
Yaman was formally in the ruling All progressives Congress APC but later in 2019 defected to the PDP.
The Kwara state governoship election comes up on March 11,2023.
