The Secretary to the Ekiti State Government Dr Habibat Adubiaro has reaffirmed the state government’s readiness to always partner relevant women organizations with a view to ending gender based violence in the state.
The SSG gave the affirmation in her office in Ado while playing host to some leadership of the National Council for Women Society led by the National Secretary Yeyeoba Bolatito Alabi.
Dr Adubiaro who appreciated the visit thanked members of the society for associating with her.
According to her the society had been exemplary in terms of emancipation of women in the country, creating platform for women to thrive and empowerment of women and girl child.
“The National Council of Women Society is the umbrella of women society and always be at the fore front. Since the inception of the organization it as always fight for women’s Right”.
“The group will never be left out in this Government and will be place accordingly irrespective of anything while your rights will be giving to you always”.
Dr Adubiaro advised Ekiti people to continue to support Governor Biodun Oyebanji in his quest to make life comfortable for the people of the state especially the women.
Responding Yeyeoba Bolatito Alabi thanked the SSG for the warm reception and promised that the Association would be ready to work in partnership with the state government for National development.
