In view of the economic predicament currently affecting the Country, the President and General Overseer of United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) worldwide, , Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi has urged Nigerian leaders on divine inspiration to listen to the voice of God.
Reverend Owoyemi gave the submission yesterday at the 2024 UACC Trustee Meeting Thanksgiving service in Ikere, Ekiti State.
According to a press release signed by the UACC Media Director, Pastor Paul Erakhifu. which was made available to NewsHereandThere the General Overseer, who preached on the topic ‘Whose voice are you listening to?’, urged Nigerians to listen to the voice of God because God has a good plan for Nigeria and her citizens. He said Nigeria shall be great again.
The UACC President quoted Genesis 3 verse 11 to buttress his pont that” we should listen to the voice of God. By so doing, we shall all be blessed and live a successful and glorious life.”
He stressed further that “we could do all things through Christ, which strengthens us – Phillippians 4 verse 13.” added “that the faith we have in God is enough reason why a child of God should be progressive and achieve his or her heart desires.”
Rev. Owoyemi further said that “if Nigeria harnesses her natural resources well, we can achieve more than what we are experiencing presently. ”
The UACC Ekiti State Superintendent, Pastor Afolayan appreciated God for a successful trustee meeting and
thanksgiving .
In his response, the Auditor General of UACC, Rev. Felix Tunde Popoola (JP) praised God for the resounding success of the just-concluded annual Board of Trustees meeting held at UACC Oke Igbala Uro in Ikere Ekiti. “We owe our gratitude to the divine guidance and grace that made this gathering fruitful.
“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi, President of UACC Worldwide, for his unwavering leadership and vision. His dedication continues to inspire and steer our church towards greater heights through the help of God”.
The 2024:UACC trustee meeting which witnessed music ministrations, drama, sermons, insightful meetings among others. was attended by religion stakeholder included the UACC General Supritendent, Rev. Dr. S. Ogunlade, the Gen. Sec. Rev. E. Oluwatuase, Gen. Evangelist, Rev. I. Alo, National Treasurer, Rev. Mrs. V. A. Olorunyomi (JP), Financial Sec. Rev. M. Adeusi, UIBC Provost, Rev. Afolabi, Auditior General, F. T. Popoola, Sunday School Supritendent, S. Rev. Duyilemi and the wife of the President, Rev. Mary Adejoke Owoyemi and directors of various offices of the Church.
