The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists. NAWOJ Ekiti state chapter has congratuated the APC candidate,Mr Biodun Oyebanji on his electoral Victory during the last Saturday governorship election.
Nawoj in a press statement by the Chairperson Mrs Fatima Bello and the secretary, Mrs Adewumi Ademiju also commended the peaceful conduct of the poll.
Women Journalists task the newly elected governor on” prompt delivery of his Political agenda for the benefit of the electorates and in the interest of democracy”
NAWOJ urges Oyebanji to “take a cue from gender friendly policy instituted by the current administration of governor Kayode Fayemi with the support of the wife ,Erelu Bisi Fayemi ”
The Association prays on wisdom and knowledge for the governor elect to enable him successfully steer the ship of the state.
