A religious based Non Governmental organization, Islamisgood Foundation is set for it’s maiden interactive Post-Ramadan program in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The event which is a departure from the annual post Ramadan picnic which it used to organize will hold a day after the eid el fitri celebration at the Ansardeen Mosque, Odo-Otu in Ado Ekiti between 10an and noon.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Ado Ekiti, coordinator of Islamisgood Foundation, Alhaji Qozeem Oladapo said the program will feature muslims both old and young that belong to different fields of endeavour stakeholders who shall have an interactive session on the theme ” Muslims’ Contributions to Societal Development and Menace: Impacts on Islam”
He said various stakeholders from across the state have been invited to grace the occasion which promises to be eye opening and educative.
The Ekiti based broadcaster also said some individuals who have been supportive to the cause of touching the lives of the less privileged muslims especially widows and the vulnerable mothers will be honoured with award of recognition.
Other programs lined up for the day include empowerment for a widow and freedom for at least a muslim inmate at the Nigeria Correctional Service in Ekiti State.
