The Ekiti State University, EKSU, Alumni, United States of America, USA, chapter has endorsed the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, BAO, ahead of the June 18th Ekiti gubernatorial election.
In a release by the Chairman, EKSU Alumni, USA chapter, Prince Adeolu Tinubu, on Monday, the association said that it endorsed Oyebanji because of his proven track records in governance.
Prince Tinubu said there is hope and beacon of green light as Oyebanji demonstrated a smart plan of economic recovery and development for all and sundry.
In his words: “He is the only candidate whose manifesto revolves around bringing love into governance. Having lived in Ekiti all his life he had developed a comprehensive plan on making use of the limited resources available to Ekiti in creating wealth.
“He was so passionate about the situation of things in Ekiti that he worked with other serious thinkers in local economy development and transformation of our potential energy into kinetic energy that works for all and sundry.”
The EKSU Alumni USA boss added that it was not a coincidence that Oyebanji is an alumnus of the institution, noting that his emergence will witness the era of industrial revolution and human capital development in the state.
“All competent Ekiti sons and daughters are qualified to be governor regardless of the university they attended around the globe. It is only a random coincidence that Oyebanji emerged from EKSU and we are so proud to be associated with the genesis of our Industrial revolution exodus.
“BAO promised equitable allocation of funds for human and industrial development and a massive initiatives to garner support from all meaningful Ekiti Sons and daughters and all who love Ekiti and craving for an Ekiti to be called home indeed.”
