EKITI NUJ CONDOLES VICE PRESIDENT, SAMO ON MOTHER’S DEATH

 

The Ekiti State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has commiserated with the Vice President of Zone B of the Union, Comrade Ronke Afebioye Samo on the passing of her mother, Mrs Grace Aduke Afebioye.

In a statement signed by the Council’s chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi and the Secretary, Comrade O’Seun Ogunsakin, the Union described madam Afebioye’s death as irreparable and sad; noting that though she died at a ripe age, her wisdom and love would be sorely missed.

The State Council noted that the deceased during her lifetime had touched countless lives and was a blessing to many who knew her.

“We are saddened by the passing of the mother of our beloved Vice President. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her, her family and loved ones during this difficult time. May Mama’s legacy live on through the countless lives she touched, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her. We pray that Almighty God grants the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and comfort them in their sorrow. The Ekiti Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) stands in solidarity with the Vice President and her family, sharing in their grief. May the love and memories of their dear mother provide solace and peace”, the Union stated.
