Eid el Kabir: Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs  Felicitates Adherents, Lauds  Oyebanji On People Friendly Policies, Support During Hajj , Muslim Festivities

 

As Muslims all over the world celebrate yet another eid el kabir, the Ekiti State chapter of the Supreme Council For for Islamic Affairs-NSCIA sends congratulatory message to our Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), Deputy Governor, Monisade Afuye, Secretary to Ekiti State Government, Alhaja (Dr) Habibat Adubiaro,
President General League of Imams and Alfas, Western states, Edo and Delta ,Sheikh Jamiu Keulere Bello,
all Imams, alfas and all muslims in Ekiti state on the occasion of Eid el kabir celebration.

President, Nigeria Supreme Coincil For Islamic Affairs NSCIA, Ekiti State, Alhaji (Dr) Hammed Afolabi Bakare in a statement he personally signed  describes the occasion of Eid kabir as another privilege to rededicate oneself to the service of Allah and ensure steadfastness in ones faith and obedience to the Supreme Being.

“I urge Muslims to keep praying for global peace which is being threatened by wars between nations including the Israel / Gaza and Russia/ Ukraine wars which are not something the world should ignore nor sleep over.

“The Council For Islamic Affairs, Ekiti State also called for continued prayers against hunger, economic hardship and criminalities ravaging many nations including Nigeria so that tranquility could reign across the world.

“The Council prays for the governments of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Biodun Oyebanji as both have distinguished themselves as lovers of peace and development through their people’s friendly policies and programs.

“The Council notes that the series of palliatives distributed among citizens on a regular basis had cushioned the effects of economic hardship being witnessed nationwide.

“The Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs, Ekiti State also commends the governor of Ekiti State for paying the June salaries ahead of the ileya festivities noting that the gesture which has not only relieved the Muslims but every worker was unprecedented and laudable.

“The Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs urged both Muslims and Christians to continue to live in harmony and advise governments at all levels on policies and programs that will impact positively on the people as well as the ones affecting the people negatively .

“The ruling Islamic Religious body in Ekiti State prays Allah grants Muslims privilege to witness more of eid kabir celebrations in peace.

“Happy Eid kabir celebration to all Muslims and Nigerians in general.”. The statement said.
