Mrs. Adubiaro stated this in a press statement greeting all Muslim Ummah on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el Fitr.
She stated further that the holy month has taken away from them all ungodly acts and it won’t be justifiable or make their fasting meaningful if they reverted to earlier sinful ways.
She added that the lessons learnt during the holy month should be put into use by Muslims because living a godly life devoid of sin, is the best for all humans.
Her word: “This holy month of Ramadan has taken away from us sinful life and given us an holy life to live. I want to implore all Muslim faithfuls not to revert to their old, sinful life which the holy month has cleansed them of. We must justify our fasting by getting rid of all ungodly acts and make our fasting more meaningful. ”
The SSG therefore, congratulated all Muslims for the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. She called on them to use the period of Eid to pray to God for Nigeria’s peace and progress.
Finally, she urged Muslim Ummah to celebrate peacefully and in moderation.
“I congratulate all Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. As they are in celebration mood, I urge them to celebrate in moderation.
“I wish you and your family a very joyful Eid. May God accept all your prayers and forgive all your faults. Eid Mubarak,”she stated.
