The Ekiti State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has commiserated with Nigeria Tribune’s correspondent in the State, Mr Yomi Ayeleso on the passing of his father, Mr Igbekele Ayeleso.
A statement signed by the Union’s Secretary, O’Seun Ogunsakin said the leadership of the Union was saddened about the passing of Pa Ayeleso; describing the transition as a loss to his loved ones and his immediate community.
The umbrella body of journalists urged the Tribune correspondent to be strong at this tough time of his father’s demise.
“Our deepest condolences go out to Mr Yomi Ayeleso and his family. The NUJ stands in solidarity with you during this tough time. May your grief be eased by the knowledge of your father’s impactful life. We pray for eternal rest for Pa. Ayeleso’s soul and comfort for those mourning”, the Union condoles.
Mr. Ayeleso, a member of the Correspondents chapel is the Special Adviser to the State’s NUJ Chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi.
