

The Wife of the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, has hosted a special Christmas celebration in honour of members and staff of her office, appreciating their dedication, loyalty, and selfless service throughout the year.

The colourful event, held at the Adunni Olayinka Hall of her office in Ado-Ekiti, brought together staff, political office holders, and other members of her team in a warm atmosphere of gratitude and festive cheer.
Speaking through her Senior Special Assistant on Political Matters, Hon. Toyin Adepoju, Dr. Oyebanji conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to the staff for their consistency, teamwork, and commitment to duty.

She commended their sacrifices and urged them to remain steadfast, diligent, and united in the discharge of their responsibilities.

As part of the celebration, the First Lady presented tokens of appreciation and welfare packages, including assorted food items, to further support staff during the festive season.
The celebration was spiced with music, comedy, games, dancing competitions, gift exchanges, and other exciting activities, creating moments of joy and bonding among staff members.
The event also featured the presentation of the BAORESS Award of Excellence, with Mr. Busayo Omotayo, Adebayo Afolayan, Ayelabola Ayomide, Ayobami Omope, Babaluwa Oluwagbenga, and Abass Badirudeen honoured for their outstanding contributions and exemplary service to the Office of the Ekiti State First Lady.
The celebration further featured goodwill and appreciation messages from staff, who described the gathering as amazing and first of its kind in the history of the state, reinforcing the First Lady’s commitment to staff welfare, motivation, and excellence in service.
