The Oye Local Government workers has commended Obalodo of Oye kingdom, Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo for his commitment to the development of community and individuals in Ekiti.
The workers of the council who were led by Mr Solomon Agbemoyin gave the commendation when they paid a courtesy visit to Obalodo’s palace on Friday in Oye-Ekiti.
Agbemoyin said the objective of the visit was to congratulate Chief Oguntoyinbo on his installation as the new Obalodo of Oye kingdom and appreciate him for his good deeds when he was Chairman of Oye Local Government between 2004 and 2007.
He described the new Obalodo as a loving, passionate, honest and committed to the social, economic and political development of Oye-Ekiti.
Agbemoyin explained that Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo did not limit the employment opportunity to Oye sons and daughters alone but also reached out to indigenes of communities under Oye local government area.
” We are happy to rejoice with you on your installation as the Obalodo of Oye kingdom, it is with great joy that we have come to visit you and appreciate you for your kind gesture towards us.
” During your tenure as Chairman of Oye Local Government Area, many of us were employed and I am happy to inform you that we have rose to the senior cadre in our respective fields.
” As at today there is no local government area that you will not see more than five workers who will not say that his or her appointment came through Chief Oguntoyinbo when he was the Chairman of Oye local government,” he said.
Some of the workers who were employed during the administration Chief Oguntoyinbo as Chairman of Oye Local Government between 2004 and 2007 are currently in Grade level 10, 12 and 14 respectively.
They were all singing songs of joy and praises for God’s faithfulness in the life of Obalodo of Oye Kingdom for his kind heart and employment opportunities given to them to become successful in their various fields.
The local government staff,thanked the State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji for appointing Chief Oguntoyinbo as the Board Chairman of State Environmental Protection Agency.
They promised to support him in any capacity to enable him achieve success in his new position.
Reacting, Obalodo of Oye Kingdom, Chief Bamitale Oguntoyinbo, said he was delighted and highly honoured to see the workers showing appreciation for his good deeds towards them many years ago.
Oguntoyinbo promised to do more if God gives him the grace and privileges to do more.
Similarly, the wife of Obalodo of Oye Kingdom, Mrs Ajibola Oguntoyinbo, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the entire team for the visit.
She advised them to love one another and be passionate about their community.
The local government workers, however presented a big befitting portrait to Obalodo as a sign of love and commendation for all his good deeds in promoting the development of Oye-Ekiti and enhancing human development.
