Solicits support for Sanwoolu, Tinubu on Dividends of Democracy

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rejoiced with the party faithful and Lagosians in general as the nation celebrates the 63rd independent anniversary. Nigeria got independence from the British Government on October 1,1960.
The party’s Chairman in the state, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, in his message to Lagosians expressed his “gratitude to God” for granting them “the gift of life to be part of this year’s celebration”.
Ojelabi said that “Nigeria has continued to wax strong over the years because of the grace, mercy and power of God that kept unity in diversity by the residents”.
He implored them “to sustain the formidable unity for the continued growth , development of the State of Aquatic Splendour and for peace to keep reigning in Nigeria”.
The Chairman also urged Nigerians to “continue their support for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his team and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for them to keep providing them with the dividends of democracy”.
He implored the citizenry “to be law abiding always and go about their activities peacefully.”
