2023: Senatorial Aspirant  Promises Job Opportunity for Ekiti Youths if Elected

Senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress(APC) for Ekiti North Senatorial Distirct ,Chief Segun Ajibulu has expressed determination to tackle unemployment among youths in Ekiti state if elected into the upper chamber.

 

The Ipao-Ekiti born politician and leader of SouthWest Professionals who promised adequate representation revealed  parts of his plans is to facilitate the establishment of Cottage Industries in the area where at least 500 youths would be gainfully employed.

 

Ajibulu disclosed this in his congratulatory message to Islamic faithful in celebration of this year’s Eid-el Fitri which marks the end of successful completion of the 30 days mandatory Ramadan Fast .

 

The APC chieftain urged Muslims to allow lessons of self-restraint, sacrifice, charity, and love of mankind imbibed during the period to guide them in whatever they do.

 

Ajibulu also enjoined them to seek God face over Ekiti and indeed Nigeria as we prepare for another round of elections in 2022 and 2023 respectively.

 

The APC stalwart while engaging critical stakeholders in the five Local Government areas in the Senatorial District ahead of the party primaries promised robust representation by initiating legislation that would impact positively on the lives of the people at the grassroots.

 

The Senatorial hopeful who met with leaders of the APC in the areas visited,particularly Ward Chairmen and Secretaries promised to bring his wealth of experience both in public and private sector to bear in lifting the people out of poverty ,if given the ticket.

 

” I am not coming out based on sentiment but because I have the experience and requisite credentials to represent my people ” Ajibulu reiterated.

 

The Local Governments visited by the senatorial hopeful included Oye,Moba ,Ikole, Ido-Osi and Ilejemeje.

 

The pro-democracy activist noted that until a deliberate and practical effort is geared towards tackling youths unemployment, the state will continue to live with the menace of festering insecurity.

 

Ajibulu said ” I dont believe that our youths are not ready to take up profitable ventures, all that we required is to show them the practical and most assuring ways of making money, they will definitely key- into whatever vocation.Our economy cannot grow or prosper,if every body is looking for political appointments.I am going to lead by example and I always make myself available to the people ”

 

Chief Ajibulu explained that he had been a loyal and committed member of the progressive family and had contributed in no small way in the enthronement of the Progressives government in Nigeria.

 

” I have stood by the party in trying times and I have also being rendering my little supports, not only to the party but to the people of my Constituency.

 

” As a leader of Yoruba in the diaspora, I have coalesce supports for the enthronement of democracy in Nigeria. In Ekiti,I have served as a Commissioner in the Pension Commission,during the first coming of Dr Kayode Fayemi as governor.

 

” So, this is the reason I humbly put myself forward before you to be your able representative in the Red Chambers of the National Assembly in the forthcoming 2023 General Elections; I respectively urge our dear party delegates in the next month primary election, to cast their votes for me as APC candidate for the February 2023 National Assembly Election in Ekiti.

 

“Permit me to remind you all my people that, now that it has been established that this is time for us in Ikole Local government to represent our people, Ekiti North at the National Assembly.” Ajibulu said.
