2022: I’m not Bothered About Fayemi’s Alleged Endorsement says Aspirant,Kayode Ojo

…….Tasks Ekiti To Figure Out Democratic Leader
The  alleged  endorsement of the former SSG Mr Biodun Oyebanji by the state Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi  has generated a reaction from one of the leading aspirants of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the next governorship election in Ekiti State, Engr. Kayode Ojo
The aspirant stated that though the governor  has the right to make his  preferred choice  yet it does not debar any other one from aspiration , noted  that he is in the race to provide an alternative platform.
He said; “I am least bothered by the governor endorsing a candidate, I would even say it falls within the right of the governor to do so in as much as individuals have fundamental human right and freedom of association and free choice. What is paramount to me is that I’m representing an alternative platform through which my aspiration can be realized”
Kayode Ojo spoke  yesterday in Ado Ekiti when his campaign train visited all the APC executive council in the town.
The aspirant in  his address urged the party faithful to liberate themselves from what he called, ‘’Government of the few by the people for the few’’ saying that the era of politics of exclusion is gone and that Ekiti people should be looking ahead for an inclusive government where the right dividends of democracy would reach the grassroots.
The occasion  witnessed the official endorsement of Kayode Ojo by  a grassroot politician, Otunba Tajudeen Gidado, with hundreds of supporters who pledged their loyalty to the success of the APC aspirant during the January 22 primary election.
While declaring his support for the APC aspirant, Otunba Gidado urged Ekiti people to vote wisely for Ojo who he described as an entrepreneur with ability and capacity to turn the fortunes of the state.
“Engr. Kayode Ojo is a self-made man who has never worked under any government to make his money unlike those who are parading the city with no known address apart from corridors of power’’.
