Hon Chidi Amadi has been appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, the (FCT), Barr. Nyesom Wike.
This was contained in a statement by the Director, Press, Office of the Minister of FCT, Mr. Tony Ogunleye.
It said that Amadi had vast experience in public service and has held several strategic political positions including PDP Chairman of Obio /Akpor Local Government Area and Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State
According to the statement, “as chief of staff Amadi would play a pivotal role in supporting the FCT minister in the formulation and execution of policies and programmes aimed at advancing the development agenda of the territory and will provide strategic guidance as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of the minister’s office.”
The newly appointed chiefs of staff would be officially sworn into office on Monday, March 18, 2024.
