The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATS-V) said the details of it’s National Convention/ Book presentation coming up on 24th of September 2022. will be unfolded in due course.
BATS-V in a statement in Abuja signed by Dennis Damulak Dateer, the Senior Special Assistant to the Global Chairman also announced it has approved the appointment of Hon. Albert Asipa, former Council Chairman of Imeko-Afon, Ogun state and present National President Association of Ex-Local Government of Nigeria ASLGON as the Southwest Secretary .
“His appointment is with immediate effect.
“Hon Albert Asipa will be sworn-in on the 8th of September 2022 at Ibadan, the Capital City of the Southwest Zone”
The statement also added that the BATS-V has appointed the Zonal Director of Women Affairs Southwest, Hon Bunmi Ajayi Oriniowo.
“She is a member of the Governing Council of the University of Petroleum Eferru in Delta state and present member of the National Executives of BATS-Vanguard as APC Ex-Officio representing Southwest.
“Hon Bunmi Ajayi Oriniowo is the current Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on Tourism Development.
“She was a member of Ekiti State House of Assembly”
Hon Bunmi is also to be sworn in together with the Secretary”
The group noted its Southwest caucus meeting holds immediately after the swearing in of both Officers.
“Those expected at the meeting are all the six states Chairmen of BATS-V in the Southwest, the Deputy National Woman Leader Southwest who doubles as the Zonal Woman Leader, Alhaja Hon Dr Funmilayo Akande Mohammed and all the six Women Leaders of BATS-V in the Southwest.
” Also expected at the meeting are Southwest Officers, National Directors and other National officers”
