The Celebrant, NAWOJ VIce Chairperson, Comrade Mrs Yusuf-Ojo and the Chairperson,Mrs Fatima Bello at the event.
Women in Nigeria have been charged to be at the forefront of exemplary roles for the promotion and upliftment of good culture in the society.
The Stakeholders alerted Women on their natural roles said to be crucial to home and nation building, adding that any attempt to renege in the task is tantamount to human catastrophy.
They highlighted the efforts of women who are upright in performing the motherly roles as ensuring Proper discipline and instill guidance on their children/ wards in preservation of the cultural values in the society..
This forms part of the submissions given by the Personalities who graced the coronation ceremony of the Vice Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ekiti state chapter, Comrade,Mrs Adijat Bimbo Yusuf-Ojo. who was conferred the Eye Mayegun of ilogbe quarters,Ifaki Kingdom in Ido Osi local government area of Ekiti state.
The event which came up at Oke ijelu, ilogbe quarters in Ifaki Ekiti was attended by people from all walks of life.
The Mummy Bishop Emeritus of Methodist Diocese of Ifaki,Mrs Eunice Monisola Aluko in her admonition titled “Women in leadership” said Women are wonderfully made and uplifted by God.
” They are crucial in human existence /development”She described Mrs Yusuf-Ojo as reliable and responsible whose attributes would be of benefits in the society.
” Her good characters earned her the title. Women should strive for positive development. God has given us the grace to make a better society. Women should ensure to do good wherever they found themselves.
“Be good at home and every where. If you found yourself in leadership position. Do your best to prioritize good deeds.
“Teach your children the good culture, as a mother. Show good example ,be an exemplary model
“Survival of our culture is in the hands of women. As mothers teach your children etiquette and code of conduct of humanity.
“God will give her knowledge to perform well”. She prayed.
In his own words, the chairman of the occasion,Otunba Adesola Adeyeye who lauded good qualities in the celebrant said “her well behavior earned her the title”.
The state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC. Comrade Kolapo Olatunde while delivering health talk to commemorate the event enjoined people at age 40 and above on balanced diet.
“Check your blood pressure regularly every week. Check your blood sugar to avoid diabetes. Do regular exercise. Government has set up keep fit every month. The elderly ones should regularly check their eyes to avoid glaucoma”

Among the Personalities that attended the ceremony were the women leader of the Community,Chief mrs bolanle owolabi. Yeyemuju of Ifaki Ekiti,Engineer Muyiwa Ojo ( son of the celebrant),a veteran Journalist,Prince Sola Adetule, the state Chairperson of NAWOJ,Mrs Fatima Bello,Dignitaries from the workforce in the state.
Mrs Yusuf-Ojo Ojo in her words promised to utilize the title in facilitating development and advancement to the Community.
