President Muhammadu Buhari Wednesday unveiled the redesigned new 1000, 500 and 200 Naira banknote at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja .
This occured shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
Present at the ceremony were Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ibrahim Gambari; and the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan.
Meanwhile former Lawmaker, Shehu Sani has taken to his twitter handles reacted on the unveiling of the redesigned new notes by the President
Sani shared a post slamming the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), on his verified Twitter handle.
He said, “If it’s Naira colour, the CBN should have just engage Snapchat.”
