Real Madrid’s new signing Yan Diomande has expressed strong admiration for the club’s head coach, José Mourinho.

Diomande said he is ready to give everything for the Portuguese manager and the Spanish club.

The Ivorian winger made the remarks during an interview with SportyTV after completing his move to Real Madrid.

Diomande described the transfer as a dream and said he was overwhelmed when he learned that the club wanted to sign him.

The Ivorian forward was quoted as saying players develop a special bond with Mourinho when they work under him.

The young forward insisted he feels no pressure following the significant transfer fee spent to bring him to his new club.

“When you play for José Mourinho, you want to die for him. I am ready to die for him.”

“They spent a lot of money because they believe in me; why will I be scared?

“I’m not scared; I feel no pressure. I will do what I do, and God will do the rest,” he added.

Madrid completed the signing of the Ivory Coast international from RB Leipzig.

This deal is worth up to €140 million (£120 million), with the highly rated teenager signing a seven-year contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
