People of Shimfida village of Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State have been thrown into serious fear and mourning as Seven Children lost their lives while others were terribly injured.
It was gathered that the people were thrown into panic out of a report that bandit has landed in the area for attack and a joint security task force in the community was reportedly withdrawn
The withdrawn soldiers were said to have been earlier drafted at the Government Secondary School, Shimfida, about 27 kilometres from Jibia town.
The residents over the development were apprehensive at the vulnerability of their community, ran helter skelter for dear lives.
They packed their belongings and relocated to neighbouring villages and towns.
Unfortunately,those who stayed behind were attacked by the bandits, eventually seven children reportedly died, while several injured.
