existing vacancies in the State General and Specialists Hospitals.

Secretary Ekiti State Hospitals’ Management Board (HMB) in Ado-Ekiti

Salary Scale (CONHESS) as well as payment of 100% hazard allowance for
medical doctors and other health workers.

These actions were nationally recognised, with different health

improving the welfare of health workers .

These gestures, amongst others by the Ekiti government, have made the
emoluments of medical doctors and other health workers compare
favourably with their peers working in federal health establishments.
