The Chairman of the Correspondents’ Chapel Day Planning Committee, Ayodele Adegbuyi, said the annual programme remains a flagship initiative of the chapel aimed at impacting Ekiti State and Nigeria at large.

“This lecture is one of our flagship programmes designed to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Ekiti State and Nigeria. It will also feature an award ceremony to honour distinguished Nigerians for their service to society, and a fundraising drive to procure digital journalism tools for members of the chapel,”Adegbuyi stated.

He added that the gathering would create room for critical conversations on key national issues.

“The event will provide stakeholders an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions on internal democracy, good governance, media freedom and the future of democratic governance in Nigeria,” Adegbuyi said.
