Task Appointees on Dev. Policy

The Online Media Chapel of Nigeria Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council has congratulated all the newly appointed Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, General Managers as well as the Executive Secretaries on their appointment.
The Chapel in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Comrade Ayodele Abere and the Secretary, Comrade Emmanuel Adeniran, also commended the State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for ensuring that consideration were given to the appontees based on track record.
According to the statement, “Online Media has become the fastest channel of information dissemination in this digital age, the Online Media Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council is willing and ready to work with the State Executive Council especially in projecting it’s activities from time to time as the need arises”.
While expressing hope and confidence in the ability of all the appointees to turn things around for better in the State, the statement equally urged them to be objective and transparent in manning the affairs of their various Ministries, Agencies and Departments in line with the vision of Governor Oyebanji-led administration, so that his mission for the State can be accomplished.
The statement further enjoined all the appointees to see their appointments as an opportunity to serve the good people of the State and not an opportunity to amass wealth for themselves or family members at the expense of the common people, saying they should not be self centered in their policies and programmes.
The statement also advised participants at the ongoing three days retreat organised for the appointees by the State government to come up with policies that will help solve the problems of poverty in the State and ensure that no sector of the economy is at disadvantage.
