A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ekiti State, Engineer Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halle has been bestowed with chieftaincy title of ‘Erelu Bobaseye of Oke-Ayedun Ekiti’ alongside her Husband as Aare.
The Virtuous Woman was conferred with the title by the the Alaaye of Oke- Ayedun, Oba Olufemi Aribisala, at the 38th Oke-Ayedun Day 2024. The Monarch of the Community described Erelu Elebute as Amazing and Illustrious Woman with Passion for Growth leading to the Title.
Speaking in the Event, Erelu Elebute-Halle expressed readiness to continue to work for the development of the community, while thanking the monarch for deeming it fit to confer on her such title
Her words, “Oke Ayedun-Ekiti is good community under the reign of the Monarch who has brought a lot of development to Oke-Ayedun Kingdom. You have outstandingly achieved what our great grandfathers were not able to achieve, we are proud of us for being a pioneer of development in our community.
“While thanking Governor Biodun Abayomi for leading Ekiti State right for outright Development. She urged the good People of Ekiti State to continually support Governor Oyebanji’s Led Administration.
“When I discussed this title with him, looking at the projects, community developments, politics that I am into and he told me that there’s no title I can attain that will be more than that of my Town.
“I will not take this title for granted, I will do everything within my capacity to bring in more developmental projects to Oke-Ayedun Ekiti.”
Erelu Elebute-Halle donated palliatives in form of food items to residents of Oke-Ayedun including rice, garri, salt, among others.

Special Adviser to Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Political and Inter Party Affairs, Chief Jide Awe reiterated the commitment of the State government to the development of the community.
Highlights of the occasion include the admission of new Egbe Omo Ilu, Egbe Alajodun 2024, Ebi Alajodun 2024, award of Omo Ayiye of Oke-Ayedun/Pa Joseph Onipede’s scholarship awards, among others.
