Lima, one of the daughters of late veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reacted to reports of her sister, Kira, welcoming a child.
There was social media speculation affirming the birth of a baby boy to the Hassan family, days after the father’s funeral.
Reacting to the speculation, Lima issued a disclaimer to debunk the growing rumours. She revealed that the family has been receiving several calls and messages from friends and family asking about it, hence the clarification.
The actor’s daughter also pleaded that they are still mourning the loss of her father, therefore the public should kindly stop spreading or sharing unverified information about them.
“Thank you for your understanding, prayers, and respect for our privacy at this difficult time.”
The veteran actor reportedly died on Sunday, August 23 after a brief battle with stage four cancer.
His illness had first been announced to the public by his daughter, Kira and Lima.
Following his passing, Ogogo has been buried in his hometown, Ilaro but a prayer is set to hold in coming days accoridng to Islamic right.
