The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ in Ekiti state has described the very recent appointment made by the new governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji as a signal that the new administration would prioritize Gender Equality like the just concluded administration of Dr John Kayode Fayemi.
Oyebanji on Sunday announced the appointment of Dr Habibat Adubiaro, as the Secretary to the State Government.
NAWOJ in a congratulatory message to Dr Adubiaro signed by the Chairperson, Mrs Fatima Bello and the secretary Mrs Adewumi Ademiju also lauded the re-appointment of Mr. Yinka Oyebode as the Chief Press Secretary.

The women Journalists tasked Adubiaro on dedication and committment in her duty as the state scribe for her to remain a pride and exemplary model to womenfolks.
NAWOJ added that the re-appointment of Oyebode as the CPS denotes that Oyebanji’s administration would prioritize Professionalism,Competence and efficiency critical to effective governance.
The women Journalists while congratulating governor Oyebanji on the new feat pray for wisdom and knowledge that would enable the new governor realize his Political manifestos for the benefit of Ekiti people.
