Nollywood actress Liz Anjorin has challenged the authenticity of a Lagos State High Court interim order restraining her from publishing or circulating photographs of Priscilla Ojo’s one-year-old son, Rakeem Mkambala.
Anjorin, who reacted during an Instagram Live session on Friday, also mocked Priscilla, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, for sharing the court order on social media.
The actress questioned why the document was made public before, according to her, it was formally served on the respondent.
“Your case na dead on arrival. If you post court letter on any platform before serving person wey you wan go serve, that court case na fake court case,” she said.
Anjorin also dismissed claims linked to the legal action against her, saying, “I don’t want to hear that, Lizzy Anjorin locked Priscilla in prison oh.”
She further criticised the alleged use of social media to publicise legal documents, referencing a petition reportedly filed against her.
“They have petitioned us oh. Gistlover don run go petition Lizzy oh. They are no longer going to court, oh. If nor be madness, posting petition letter on social media,” Anjorin said.
The actress’s reaction followed an interim order issued by the Lagos State High Court on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The order, granted by Justice Yetunde Adesanya, restrained Anjorin from publishing or broadcasting photographs of Rakeem, as well as editorials concerning Priscilla, her husband, Juma Mussa Mkambala, and their son on her social media platforms.
The application was filed by Priscilla, her husband and their son in Suit No. LD/ADR/6646/2026.
A certified true copy of the order shared by Priscilla on Instagram on Friday stated that Anjorin was restrained, either personally or through her agents, representatives or anyone acting under her authority, from “publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting” pictures of Rakeem on her social media pages.
The platforms specifically mentioned in the order include Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and TikTok.
The court also directed Anjorin to refrain from publishing, broadcasting or posting editorials concerning the applicants on the listed platforms pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.
Part of the order read, “An Order of this Honourable Court restraining the Respondent either by its agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers or any other person or group of persons howsoever described and/or under the Respondent’s authority from publishing, posting, circulating, uploading and broadcasting the 3rd Applicant’s pictures on the Respondent’s social media pages namely on Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Tiktok… pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice in this suit.”
“An Order of this Honourable Court restraining the Respondent either by its agents, privies, representatives, employees, officers or any other person or group of persons howsoever described and/or under the Respondent’s authority to cease and desist broadcasting, publishing and posting editorials on the Applicants on the Respondent’s social media pages to wit: @lizzyanjorin_originallawal (Ibukun Lawal), @lizzyanjorin_original (MRS LIZZY ANJORIN LAWAL), @lizzyanjorin_legal_mrslawal, @yeyemesho_luxuryfabric1 (YEYEMESHO LIZZYANJORIN LUXURY FABRICS, ABUJA, Lizzyanjorin2 (on Facebook), @lizzyanjorin_soyoyo on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok respectively pending the hearing and determination of the Motion of Notice in this suit.
“The order is an interim measure and forms part of the ongoing proceedings between the parties. It does not represent a final determination of the substantive issues before the court.”
The latest development comes amid the prolonged social media dispute between Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo.
Anjorin has, on several occasions, made social media posts involving Ojo and members of her family as the feud between the two actresses continues.
