The APC Chairman,Ojelabi
Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, the Lagos State APC Chairman, has earned a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Divinity from the renowned Crystal Bible College, Lagos, at its 3rd Convocation Ceremony.
Prophet Joshua Kayode Adeleye, the President and Rector of the College who conferred the prestigious award on the APC boss, said Ojelabi deserved it because of his outstanding leadership qualities and fear of God.
He said the school had watched closely the honesty, integrity and corruption-free spirit of the chairman before choosing him for the prestigious award as a way to encourage him to keep up his good works.
Ojelabi, who was away on official assignment during the convocation when the other six beneficiaries were decorated, received his award as the seventh, in his office at the APC Secretariat, Acme road, on Monday, Dec. 4, 2033
The rector added that the conferment of this distinguished Doctorate Degree on Ọjẹlabi was a clear indication of his dedication to the growth and development of the faith in Lagos and in the Christaindom at large, his commitment to humanity;
and also his undying love for the nation.
Ojelabi, a former member of the green chambers and a Senior Apostle and Pastor, doubles as the co-ordinating officer and chairman of the National Executive Council of Cherubim & Seraphim Society (the highest decision making authority of the church) and the National treasurer of C&S Society.
He actively combines his political profession with his spiritual assignments. He sponsored and facilitated the building of C&S Society, Olorunsogo Parish, Eseofin, Lagos.
The chairman carried out his spiritual activities through the power of the Holy Spirit and attends all church invitations either as Preacher, Special Guest or Chairman physically or represented.
The APC Chairman’s theological foresight and divine understanding in the practise and teaching of the theology, earned him this glorious and outstanding recognition through the conferment of a Honorary Doctorate Degree.
With his vast understanding of humanity as it were, the Collegec Rector said the entire Christiandom are optimistic of Ojelabi’s unending sacrifices and commitments, especially in the area of enhancing and improving the value of life in Lagos, Nigeria, Africa and the world at large.
