The Ministerial screening of former minister of state for labour Festus Keyamo on Monday was inconclusive.
This occured as the parliamentary became rowdy after a Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Darlington Nwokocha, moved a motion objected to the screening of Keyamo, a ministerial nominee from Delta State over alleged failure of Keyamo to respond to a summon by the Chamber.
Keyamo served as a former Minister of State for Labour and Productivity under the immediate past administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The motion was seconded by Senator from Abia-South Senatorial District, Enyinnaya Abaribe.
The motion was eventually premised on a voice vote by the Senate President,Godswill Akpabio with Lawmakers on different sides.
Nwokocha also accused Keyamo of disrespecting the 9th National Assembly and accusing the last Assembly of being corrupt.
