Irewolede LCDA Ushers 2023 With Prayers ,Thanksgiving

 

The Executive, Legislative, Management and Staff of Irewolede Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ekiti state on Wednesday gathered at the council secretariat to express gratitude to God, in thanksgiving and prayers to usher in the new year.

 

The prayer session which was led by pastor Olumuyiwa Aroge of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Rehoboth Mega Parish, Iloro-Ekiti, was attended by the council Chairperson,Hon. (Mrs) Dupe Bakare, Vice Chairman, Hon. Samson Kolawole, Councillors representing Ekamarun and Iloro Ward A, Hon. Lola Adeosun and Hon. Kemi Babatunde, APC chairman, Iloro Ward A, Mr James Adaralegbe, Head of Local Council Administration, Mr Gbenga Sanya,Director of Administration, Mr Alade Emmanuel, Director of Finance, Mr Gbenga Olaiya, Director of information, Mr Tope Obembe and other staff.

Pastor Aroge in his sermon, charged the staff of the council to always give thanks to God in every situation,said their being alive today is by the grace of God.

The Cleric said the “Holy Spirit should be our guide in 2023” , emphasizing that “without Holy Spirit, man cannot achieve anything”.

He implored them to handover the affairs of their lives to God as they proceed in the new year.

The Council Chairperson,Hon.(Mrs) Dupe Bakare in her speech, commended the staff for their diligence and dedication to duty,solicited for their cooperation for the growth of the LCDA.

Hon Bakare called on the staff to examine themselves and “improve where necessary”.

The programme also featured HLA award for the best staff of the year which goes to Mrs Taiwo Fadahunsi of Works Department.Hon. Bakare congratulated the best staff, described the award as well deserved. She encouraged Mrs Fadahusi not to relent, called on other staff to emulate her.
