The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area of Ekiti state,Hon Oluwadamilare Ajayi has called on motorists plying Ijan/Iluomoba/ Aisegba road to always exercise caution, avoid over speeding and obey road signs in a bid to reduce crashes that have now become incessant on daily basis.
According to the chairman, “most accidents happening on the road where lives of innocent people are lost are due to reckless driving by some of the motorists on the road”.
He noted that in a bid for upcoming vechicles to see far and drive without much challenges,his administration has cleared the road verges in the areas.
The Chairman called on the Federal Road Safety Officers to checkmate wrecklessnes of the drivers especially those from Lagos and Abuja axis .
