The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin LCDA, Hon. Oluwadamilare Ajayi has been inducted as a Fellow of the prestigious Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria.
The special investiture of Hon. Ajayi took place on Saturday, 3rd November,2023 at the Assembly Hall, The Polytechnic Ibadan.
The induction ceremony was conducted by the Registrar of the Institute, Dr. Uche Okereke.
According to Dr. Okere, “the induction of Hon. Damilare Ajayi as a Fellow of the Institute was decided by the Council of the Institute in recognition of his expertise and proficiency in the management of public enterprises and outstanding performance in public administration activities in Nigeria.
“He added that the induction of Hon. Ajayi was informed by the fact that he has exhibited a high grade of exemplary leadership style, not only as a seasoned politician but equally as a man of great integrity whose virtues are worthy of emulation” he explained.
At today’s event Hon Ajayi was inducted along side with his closest friend ,the Executive Chairman of Igbara- Odo/ Ogotun LCDA Hon Ayodeji Abiodun Olaniyi
With his induction, Hon. Damilare Ajayi has joined other eminent Nigerians such as Senate Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, former governor of Taraba State, Rev. Jolly Nyame, former Minister of Education, Prof. Tunde Adeniran, former governor of Niger State, Dr. Muazu Babangida, Senator Duro Faseyi, Hon Dupe Bakare , Executive Chairman of Irewolede who have been earlier inducted as Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administrators on 23rd August, 2023
On the entourage of the Chairman was the Director of Administration of Gbonyin LCDA Chief Anthony Ajila and the Director of Finance Mr Omolade.
