The Federal Science and Technical College, Usi-Ekiti has emerged overall best in the just concluded 2021/2022 First Lego League (FLL) Competition and 2021/2022 (FTC) Championship respectively.
The ROBOTIC team of FSTC, Usi-Ekiti codenamed LEGOBOTZ in the maiden edition defeated famous Federal Unity Schools in Nigeria to clinch the first position in the two competitions that took place in Abuja recently.
Aside the victories recorded by the team, coaches from the school also received prizes as best coaches during the competition.
According to the Principal of the college, Mr Olateju Balogun, the superlative performance of the school would enable them to participate in the International Challenge holding in the United States of America on a date yet to be fixed .
Balogun described the feat as unprecedented in the history of the College, noting that under his leadership, the school will always strive for excellence in all competitions.
He called for more dedication and commitment from the staff and students of the College as well as continuous support from the parents.
