… Tasks Newly Elected Women Lawmakers on Girl Child Dev.
The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ in Ekiti state has expressed confidence that Nigeria will soon produce Female leader at the topmost position.
This is contained in a congratulatory message by the NAWOJ Chairperson Mrs Fatima Bello and the Secretary Mrs Adewumi Ademiju to the newly elected Female Lawmakers in the state.
The women Journalists enjoined the newly electedLawmakers on concerted efforts to ensure more development for women and girl Child.
The outcome of last Saturday State Assembly Election in the state produced 6 women .They are :
1. Teju Okuyiga (Gbonyin)
2. Iyabo Fakunle Okhiemen (Ilejemeje)
3. Mariam Ogunlade (Emure)
4. Bola Solanke (Moba)
5. Bolaji Olagbaju (Ado)
6. Bose Olowokere (Efon)

The women Journalists while congratulating the lawmakers described the development as a good omen for Gender advocacy.
It tasks the legislatures to “without delay switch into action on concerted efforts for various activities that will boost Women and Girl Child development in the state,added that the lawmakers should make their presence known and felt at the Assembly ground on Gender issues and upliftment”
The Association wishes the new lawmakers success and progress in their Political career .
