The Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of 35 secretaries for the 16 Local Government Councils and 19 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the State.
The governor stressed that the decision is an effort to further strengthen local government administration in Ekiti State
The appointment according to a press release signed by the chief press secretary to the governor,Yinka Oyebode is with immediate effect.
“While congratulating the newly appointed secretaries, the Governor urged them to work hand-in-hand with other officials in their respective councils in ensuring remarkable development at the grassroots level.”
