His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) John Adegbenro Falore Ajigbade graced the inauguration of Hon. Bayo Famoroti as Secretary of Isokan Local Council Development Area, Ifaki-Ekiti. The event which took place yesterday at the Council Secretariat along Aaye/Ifaki-Ekiti, saw important dignitaries in attendance. They include: Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi ably represented by Hon. Tunde Aladegbami, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on National Assembly Matters, (House of Representatives), represented by his political family, Hon. Abiodun Fawekun, House of Assembly Member representing Ido/Osi Constituency 1 and host of others.
Oba Adegbenro congratulated Famoroti on his swearing-in ceremony as Scribe of Isokan LCDA, describing him as Round Peg in Round Hole. “It is imperative to appreciate Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for finding him worthy of this appointment, alongside Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi and Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju in whom Famoroti had worked with giving good Credence about him.
Speaking further, Oba Adegbenro said the initiative of Local Council Development Area in Ekiti State is highly commendable, giving rise to grassroots political participation for Commoners. “There will be no such occurrence of Famoroti appointment if there is no Isokan LCDA. “I’m urging the leadership of the Council to patronize commoners interest through farming, and other initiative ideas bringing development to the area.
He urged Hon. Ogundaisi’s led administration in Isokan LCDA to complete ongoing projects for proper finishing. “Those challenging the outcome of the last Chairmanship election in Isokan LCDA should also shelve sword and join hands with the current administration for the progress of all and sundry. “The ongoing work on Ifaki/Ado-Ekiti road is highly appreciated by Governor Oyebanji’s led administration, Olufaki added.
Meanwhile, Isokan LCDA Chairman, Hon. Ogundaisi promised to carry everyone along, leaving no stone untouched in his administration. Likewise, the the Head of Administration described good funding of Local Government Administration is Panacea to Development. Speaking earlier, Bayo Famoroti thanked Olufaki for attending the epoch event in company of his Wife, Community Chiefs and Well-wishers.
