Wife of the immediate past governor of Ekiti state, Erelu Bisi Fayemi recently did a book reading at Roving Heights in Victoria Island Lagos.
Erelu Fayemi a gender activist and writer took the reading from her current books.
The former First Lady who shared the details of the event on her instagram page stated:
“On April 14th, I did a book reading at 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 bookstore, Landmark Event Center, Victoria Island. It was a nice event, attended by family, friends and lovers of books.
” The book reading was moderated by the seasoned multimedia journalist, Funmi Unuajefe. I read from my latest books ‘𝘋𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘺’ and ‘𝘈 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴’. There was an exciting discussion after the formal book reading.
“I went on from there to CLASSIC FM 97.33, for a recording of #BookOnReview with Benji. It was nice to see my good friend and brother Benji Okoh again.
“My heartfelt thanks to all those who showed up for the book reading and for the love and support from well wishers everywhere.
My books are available at 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 bookstores in Lagos and Abuja, and if you order online, they will send the books to you wherever you are. ”
Erelu Fayemi who seized the opportunity to announce expectations on more readings said “There are more book readings lined up for this year, so watch out for the next one.”
