The Ekiti State government has commiserated with the bereaved family of late Onikogosi of Ikogosi,
in Ekiti West Local Government area, Oba Olorunnisola Elijah Abiodun, who passed on to his ansestors recently.
This was done through the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr Habibat Omolara Adubiaro who paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family on Thursday.
Adubiaro who visited the bereaved family on behalf of the state governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, said: ” the state government identifies with the bereaved family in this moment of grief as we commiserate with your family on the demise of the late Onikogosi.
“We want to assure you that we shall stand by you and support you during this period as part of our family in the state”.
Responding, the Olori of the Kabiyesi appreciated the SSG who took her time to visit the family during their time of mourning and prayed that God will put an end to any tragic incident in the state.
