Mother of the Chairman of Correspondent chapel in the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ , Ekiti state council is dead.
The family in a statement signed by the Correspondent Chapel Chairman Mr Victor Ogunje stated that the mother, a respectable community leader,Chief (Mrs) Rachael Oja Omogbemile Ogunje, passed away on Tuesday at the age of 94.
“Mrs Ogunje died peacefully at her residence in Ijan Ekiti ,Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State”
The Correspondents’ Chairman who is also the state correspondent for This Day Newspaper stated that:
“Burial arrangements will be announced later.”
