The Annual Public Lecture and Award presentation organized by the Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council hold on Thursday, the 28th of April, 2022.
The theme of the public lecture is: JOURNALISM, SECURITY, PARTY POLITICS AND ELECTION COVERAGE: THE WAY FORWARD.
A press Statement from the Chairman of the Chapel, Comrade Ayodele Abere stated that the lecture is to enable all the critical stateholders in relation to the subject matter be adequately prepared and shun all acts of indiscipline during the forthcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
“The programme which is slated to hold at the CDA Event Centre, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State would start at 11:00am prompt. Professor Omotoye Olorode will be the guest speaker for the day. While Mr. Ropo Ewenla will be a moderator/contributor.
“People and Institution to be honoured at the event include: Alhaja Bosede Adedibu, wife of the great politician of Ibadan, late Alhaji Adedibu, Mrs Aminat Ajibola, popularly referred to as Aminloaded and Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin, Ondo State”
The statement enjoined members of the general public to grace the occasion.
